Position Description

An award-winning firm in West Yorkshire is seeking a skilled Clinical Negligence Solicitor/Fee Earner to join their team based in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly respected team handling complex and high-quality clinical negligence cases.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of complex clinical negligence claims from inception to completion, ensuring cases are handled efficiently and to a high standard.
Handle all aspects of litigation, including court processes, drafting legal documents, preparing evidence, and conducting negotiations.
Provide clear and comprehensive legal advice to clients on all aspects of their clinical negligence claims, ensuring the highest levels of client care.
Maintain and develop a strong understanding of statutory legislation, case law, and civil procedure rules.
Contribute to the business development efforts of the firm by building and maintaining relationships with clients, referrers, and other external parties.
Provide training and supervision to junior team members, assisting with their development and enhancing team performance.
Utilise Proclaim case management software to manage and progress cases efficiently.

Job Requirements

3+ years PQE in handling clinical negligence claims. Litigation experience is essential. Strong knowledge and understanding of clinical negligence law, with a track record of handling complex claims. Experience using Proclaim case management software is desirable. Experience in training or supervising junior team members is advantageous.
