Candidate Sourcing & Engagement
- Searching for the right talent: job boards, LinkedIn, internal contacts.
- Reaching out to candidates to discuss roles, career goals, and aspirations.
- Offering guidance: CV advice, interview prep, understanding their priorities.
- Building long-term relationships with candidates.
- Taking some time to speak to law graduates and career returners – offering some guidance and positivity along the way.
Understanding Clients & Their Needs
- Getting to know clients’ culture, business priorities, and recruitment requirements.
- Acting as a bridge between clients and candidates to ensure the right fit.
- Offering market insights and advice on candidate availability.
- Having general catch ups! We love to build strong, lasting relationships with our clients.
Matching, Shortlisting & Placing
- Reviewing applications and shortlisting suitable candidates.
- Coordinating interviews and gathering feedback.
- Negotiating offers and supporting both parties to secure a placement.
Admin & Organisation
- Keeping accurate records of candidates, roles, and communications.
- Using databases and systems to stay on top of multiple roles.
- Balancing competing priorities while maintaining great service.
- Posting or refreshing job boards/our website
- Making notes to check in with candidates who are starting new roles – we support you all the way through!
Networking & Learning
- Attending networking breakfasts, lunches, or industry events.
- Building new contacts and strengthening existing relationships in the legal sector.
- Creating helpful guides to support candidates.
- Writing blog posts (like this one!) so that our candidates and clients understand more about what we do.
- Using these opportunities to keep up-to-date with trends and broaden our network.
