Position Description

A well-established law firm in Manchester is seeking a highly skilled Travel Litigation Solicitor to join their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced solicitor to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, managing a diverse caseload of travel-related litigation matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of pre-litigation and litigated personal injury claims, with a focus on accidents and illnesses abroad.
• Handle all aspects of the claims process from initial instruction through to settlement or trial.
• Provide expert legal advice to clients, ensuring the highest level of service and client care.
• Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements.
• Conduct negotiations with opposing parties to achieve favourable outcomes for clients.
• Represent clients in court when required, advocating on their behalf in a professional and effective manner.
• Collaborate with other members of the legal team to share knowledge and best practices, contributing to the firm's continued success.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in handling pre and post-litigation personal injury claims, particularly serious injury or EL/PL cases.
• Experience in accident abroad cases is desirable but not essential.
• Strong understanding of the legal processes involved in personal injury litigation.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage a demanding caseload with minimal supervision.
• A proactive approach to work, with strong organisational and time-management skills.
