A leading national law firm is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Costs Lawyer to join their busy costs team in Bolton. As a key appointment within the firm, this role is an integral part of the senior costs team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of complex costs matters, providing high-quality advice and services to clients.
• Handle a diverse range of cases, including advocacy, and ensure efficient and effective resolution.
• Work closely with the Head of Costs, providing support and assistance in various aspects of costs management.
• Collaborate with clients, insurers, and team members to facilitate smooth and successful case outcomes.
• Develop supervisory skills by providing guidance and mentoring to junior team members.

Requirements:

• Substantial experience as a Costs Lawyer, with expertise in handling complex costs matters and advocacy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients, insurers, and colleagues effectively.
• Proven ability to manage a busy caseload, ensuring attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
