Position Description
A highly regarded law firm in Bolton is seeking a Recovery Litigator to join their team. The successful candidate will have experience in claimant litigation and have handled personal injury or credit hire files.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of litigated claims, providing high-quality legal advice.
- Conduct all aspects of litigation from issuing proceedings, drafting pleadings and preparing witness statements, through to attending court hearings.
- Actively progress cases to settlement or trial.
- Attend conferences with counsel, experts, and clients.
- Provide accurate and timely advice to clients on legal issues.
- Maintain accurate case management data and update the firm's case management system.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with the firm's quality standards and protocols.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and provide excellent customer service.
- Attend training sessions to improve knowledge and skills.
Requirements:
- A minimum of one year's experience in a similar role.
- Experience in handling litigated files in personal injury or credit hire matters.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
