Position Description
A well-regarded law firm in Wigan is seeking a Property Litigation Solicitor to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a solicitor with 3-5 years PQE in property litigation to handle a variety of challenging and engaging cases in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage your own caseload of property and land-related litigation work.
- Handle a broad range of disputes, including:
- Trespass
- Nuisance
- Boundary disputes
- Adverse possession
- Landlord and tenant cases
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, correspondence, and provide expert advice to clients.
- Attend court and tribunals to represent clients where necessary.
- Liaise with clients, opposing solicitors, and third-party professionals to ensure efficient case progression.
- Maintain strong working knowledge of relevant statutory legislation and case law.
- Ensure cases comply with the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and meet all court deadlines.
Requirements:
- A qualified solicitor with c. 3-5 years' PQE in property litigation.
- Experience in handling a wide range of land and property disputes.
- Strong knowledge of property law and civil litigation procedures.
- Excellent communication and client care skills.
- Ability to manage your own caseload independently with minimal supervision.
