Position Description
An esteemed Yorkshire law firm is currently seeking a skilled Private Client Lawyer to join their team in Skipton, initially covering a maternity leave (FTC) with the potential for a permanent contract.
As a vital member of the team, the successful candidate will contribute to the firm's longstanding reputation for excellence in private client services.
The firm's Private Client department is well-supported by proficient Legal Assistants, advanced ICT systems, and established precedents such as Practical Law. This infrastructure provides an efficient environment for legal practice. Moreover, the role offers opportunities for business development and marketing initiatives to enhance the department's visibility in the Aire Valley and Yorkshire Dales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a range of private client matters, including wills, trusts, and probate.
- Collaborate with Legal Assistants to ensure the smooth functioning of the department.
- Utilise specialist ICT systems and precedents to enhance efficiency in legal operations.
- Explore opportunities for business development and contribute to marketing efforts.
Requirements:
- 3-7 years PQE in private client law.
- Strong experience in wills, trusts, and probate.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Legal Assistants.
- Familiarity with ICT systems and legal precedents.
