Personal Injury Fee Earner

Position Description

A friendly and supportive firm is seeking a Personal Injury Fee Earner to join their team on a 12-month fixed term contract. If you have hands-on experience dealing with a mix of personal injury files and are looking for a supportive working environment, this opportunity is for you.

This role is initially offered for a 12-month period, but the firm strongly envisions it becoming a permanent position due to their long-term expansion plans. As a Personal Injury Fee Earner, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse caseload and receive ongoing support and training to enhance your skills in personal injury law.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling a mix of personal injury files, including RTA, EL, and PL matters.
  • Conducting thorough case assessments and investigations.
  • Drafting legal documents, including pleadings and correspondence.
  • Providing legal advice and guidance to clients.
  • Negotiating settlements and liaising with third parties, including insurers and medical experts.
  • Managing case files effectively and meeting deadlines.
  • Building strong relationships with clients and providing excellent customer service.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Personal Injury Fee Earner with hands-on involvement in a variety of personal injury cases.
  • Strong knowledge of personal injury law and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional client service.
