Position Description
A leading Manchester city centre practice is seeking an experienced Litigation Team Manager to join their team as an integral part of the firm's continued development. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong litigation experience, team management skills, and a proactive and approachable manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting team members in further developing their skills and achieving KPIs to obtain the best results for clients.
- Supervising a team and working in a volume litigation environment.
- Ensuring the smooth running of the team's caseload and meeting deadlines.
- Providing support, guidance, and training to team members.
- Conducting legal research and providing advice on complex cases.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
- Assisting in the firm's overall strategy and growth plans.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of litigation experience, with proven experience in managing a team.
- Strong technical knowledge of litigation law and regulations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience in a volume litigation environment is preferred.
