Position Description
A busy and expanding law firm in Preston is seeking a Housing Disrepair Fee Earner to join their litigation team. This role offers the opportunity to manage a varied caseload in housing disrepair and RTA litigation, and develop your experience within housing litigation - a growing and highly rewarding area of law. The ideal candidate will have some experience in RTA litigation, although this is not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling a caseload of housing disrepair and RTA litigation cases
- Providing high-quality legal advice to clients
- Managing clients' expectations and keeping them up to date with developments in their cases
- Conducting legal research and drafting legal documents
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders
- Assisting in the development and growth of the department
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Housing Disrepair Fee Earner
- Experience in RTA litigation is desirable but not essential
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage a busy caseload
- Good IT skills
