A respected law firm in Oldham is seeking an experienced Head of Residential Conveyancing to join their team and lead a busy, high-performing department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee a dynamic conveyancing team, ensuring efficiency and excellence in service delivery.
• Manage a diverse and complex caseload, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, leasehold transactions, and transfers of equity.
• Mentor, develop, and manage a team of solicitors, associates, and support staff, ensuring their continued professional growth and high performance.
• Handle complex and high-value property transactions, providing expert advice and guidance to clients.
• Take a proactive approach to business development, growing and enhancing the firm’s conveyancing services.
• Ensure the team adheres to regulatory compliance and internal procedures, maintaining high standards of professionalism and client care.

Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Solicitor with significant experience in residential property law, particularly in handling complex and high-value transactions.
• A proven track record of leading and mentoring a team, with excellent management skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and a proactive approach to business development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, busy environment, maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
