Position Description
A leading law firm is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Private Client to join their team in Liverpool. As the Head of Private Client, you will be instrumental in leading and developing the private client team, ensuring exceptional service delivery and achieving outstanding outcomes for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to a team of solicitors, supporting them in their professional development and ensuring efficient and effective client service.
- Address and resolve technical queries from team members, leveraging your expertise in Wills, Trusts, and Probate.
- Prepare Wills, offer advice on Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and oversee applications and registrations. Manage contentious probate matters and deputyships with a focus on achieving favourable client outcomes.
- Drive the growth of the Private Client department through strategic business development, enhancing client acquisition and retention.
- Oversee ongoing case management, ensuring cases are handled efficiently and meet the highest standards of quality.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 4 years PQE (or equivalent) in private client law with substantial experience in managing complex legal matters and client relationships.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team, with a strong track record in business development and departmental growth.
