Position Description
Join a leading specialist law firm in Altrincham as a Financial Mis-Selling Solicitor in a full-time hybrid role. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in investigating and representing clients in compensation claims against financial advisors and companies, specifically focusing on commonly mis-sold financial services products.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage a caseload of financial mis-selling cases, ensuring timely progress and adherence to legal processes.
- Represent clients in compensation claims, demonstrating strong advocacy skills in negotiations and court proceedings.
- Conduct thorough research on relevant legal issues, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of each case. Apply analytical skills to develop effective legal strategies.
- Draft a variety of legal documents, including but not limited to letters of claim, responses, and settlement agreements.
- Maintain a client-focused approach, keeping clients informed about case developments, advising on legal options, and managing expectations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure a cohesive approach to case resolution.
Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience, specialising in Financial Mis Selling.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, crucial for effective client interaction and negotiation.
- Ability to work independently and remotely, demonstrating self-motivation and discipline.
- A results-driven approach to work, ensuring the best possible outcomes for clients.
