Position Description
A respected and friendly law firm based in Cheshire is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Family Lawyer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 2+ years’ experience in family law to work on a fully private family law caseload, with excellent flexibility and progression potential.
The Role:
You will manage a broad range of private family matters including:
- Divorce, separation, and dissolution of civil partnerships
- Financial settlements following relationship breakdowns
- Children arrangements and disputes
- Pre-nuptial and pre-civil partnership agreements
- Disputes between cohabiting couples
You’ll work closely with clients through sensitive and emotionally charged circumstances, so strong communication and client care skills are essential.
What You’ll Need:
- 2+ years’ PQE as a Solicitor or Legal Executive
- Solid experience in private family law
- Compassionate, professional, and approachable demeanour
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team
