Position Description
A highly regarded legal practice in Leeds is experiencing continued growth and is currently seeking an Employment Rights Lawyer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a reputable firm that focuses on acting solely for claimants, handling a wide range of contentious employment law matters across various industries and businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Representing claimants in employment law cases, covering a diverse range of issues related to employment and industrial relations.
- Handling a full caseload of contentious employment matters, providing legal advice and support to clients throughout the process.
- Conducting legal research, preparing legal documents, and representing clients in hearings and tribunals.
- Building strong client relationships and ensuring a high level of client care.
- Collaborating with other team members and senior lawyers to develop case strategies and achieve successful outcomes.
Requirements:
- Qualified solicitor or legal executive with a strong background in employment law.
- Demonstrated experience in handling contentious employment law matters, representing claimants.
- Solid understanding of employment and industrial relations laws, regulations, and case precedents.
- Excellent communication and advocacy skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Keen interest in staying updated on employment law developments and trends.
- Strong commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
