Position Description

A busy and highly regarded practice in Manchester is looking for a skilled criminal caseworker to join their team. In this role, you will handle Magistrates and Crown court files, prepare Magistrates court files, attend Police Stations and provide advice to clients. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with specialists in the field and gain invaluable experience in criminal law.

As a criminal caseworker, you must have excellent communication skills and a thorough understanding of the criminal justice system. The role is a mixture of dealing with Magistrates and Crown court files, preparation of Magistrates court files and providing advice to clients. Some attendance at police stations is required. You must be able to work as part of a busy criminal law practice. Police Station Accreditation is preferred for this role, although not essential.
