Position Description

A growing law firm with offices on the Merseyside/Cheshire border is seeking a Credit Hire Solicitor to join their friendly team. This is an exciting opportunity for a Solicitor or equivalent with a minimum of 2/3 years' experience in handling a caseload of credit hire matters.

The firm offers excellent progression opportunities, including the possibility of advancing into a management role. You will have the opportunity to work on complex cases, further developing your expertise in credit hire matters. Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a caseload of credit hire matters, including both fast track and multi-track cases.
• Conducting litigation proceedings and representing clients in court.
• Providing expert legal advice and guidance to clients.
• Drafting legal documents, including statements of case, witness statements, and settlement agreements.
• Negotiating settlements and handling negotiations with third-party insurers.
• Keeping up-to-date with relevant case law and legal developments in the field of credit hire.

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor or equivalent with a minimum of 2/3 years' experience in Credit Hire.
• Strong knowledge of credit hire law and litigation procedures.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a caseload with attention to detail and meet deadlines.
• Experience in both claimant and defendant backgrounds is desirable.
• A proactive and collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
