Position Description
A reputable costs firm based in Yorkshire is seeking a Costs Draftsperson to join their team due to expansion plans. This is a remote position.
The ideal candidate for this role will be a Costs Lawyer or Draftsperson with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in handling a varied caseload consisting of fast track and multi-track Personal Injury, Clinical Negligence, and Commercial claims. You will be responsible for drafting bills, replies, budgets, negotiating settlements, and preparing for CCMCs. Any experience in attending CCMCs would be an advantage, although not essential.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary, bonus scheme, and flexible working arrangement in return for their skills and experience.
As a Costs Draftsperson, you will be dealing with your own caseload and will be competent in all aspects of costs drafting. You will be expected to work independently as well as part of a team, liaising with clients, solicitors, and barristers to ensure that all work is completed accurately and within the given timescales.
