Position Description
A reputable law firm in South Manchester is seeking a Conveyancing Paralegal to join their dynamic and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with at least 6 months of experience in residential conveyancing who is looking to develop their career within a well-established practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling post-completion requirements, including HMLR registrations and requisitions
- Submitting Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) returns
- Liaising with estate agents, lenders, and borrowers to facilitate smooth transactions
- Requesting redemption figures
- Assisting in the preparation of sale contract packs
- Supporting the Head of Department in maintaining lender panel status
- Assisting in reporting to clients and preparing contracts for signature
- Submitting property searches and ensuring all documentation is in order
Requirements:
- At least 6 months of experience in residential conveyancing
- Highly organised, with excellent communication skills
- A strong team player, able to work collaboratively with colleagues
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a fast-paced environment
