Position Description
An established Yorkshire firm with a broad client base is seeking an experienced Commercial/Employment/Charities Lawyer to join their team in Bradford. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced lawyer to take on a mixed caseload of corporate work, employment law, and charities work.
The successful candidate will have the support of a secretary and various ICT and precedents (Practical Law), and there are opportunities for business development and marketing to further grow the profile of the department in Bradford, and throughout the Aire Valley.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising on commercial and employment matters, and charities law.
- Providing legal advice to clients and drafting legal documents.
- Conducting legal research.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
- Managing a caseload of varied matters.
- Business development and marketing to grow the profile of the department
Requirements:
- 3-10 years PQE as a commercial, employment, or charities lawyer.
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial, employment, or charities law and regulations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- The ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- A team player who is willing to work collaboratively to achieve common goals.
