Position Description
A well-established costs practice is looking for a commercial costs draftsperson to join their successful costs practice. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely and handle a diverse caseload of complex high-value commercial litigation cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft complex bills, replies, budgets, and other costs-related documents.
- Attend CCMCs (Costs and Case Management Conferences) and detailed assessments.
- Negotiate settlement of costs matters.
- Manage a varied caseload with a focus on high-value commercial litigation.
- Utilise your expertise in costs to provide exceptional service to clients.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in handling commercial costs matters.
- Strong knowledge of the costs drafting process and regulations.
- Experience in commercial litigation is essential.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational abilities.
